Typebot is the open-source option in this list. It is a visual builder for chat forms and conversational flows, with 20+ blocks such as text fields, buttons, date pickers and payment inputs, and integrations with OpenAI, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make and plain HTTP requests. You can embed a bot as a container, popup or bubble on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Framer or a React app. The hosted free plan gives unlimited bots and 200 chats a month, and a chat counts once per user session however many messages are sent. Starter costs $39 per month for 2 seats and 2,000 chats, and removes branding; Pro at $89 adds WhatsApp, custom domains and deeper analytics. Typebot only bills monthly because pricing follows usage. It fits lead capture and guided flows better than document-trained support agents, which you would have to assemble yourself with the OpenAI block.
