No one buys a position
Rankings are ordered by the scoring method and nothing else. Makers and sellers do not review pages ahead of publication and cannot pay to move up, to be added or to change what their spec sheet row says. Our disclosure page lists our financial ties, and today there are none.
Bylines
All pages are published by the DBotMaker research desk. We do not invent writers, personas or headshots.
Where spec sheet data comes from
Every spec sheet cell comes from the maker's own public pages: pricing, plan comparisons, product and feature pages, published specs, fee schedules, compatibility lists and documentation. We record the page and the date we checked. If a maker does not document a spec, we mark it as not listed rather than fill the gap from forums, reviews or guesswork.
Where numbers come from
We take statistics from the organizations that produced them: companies reporting their own usage, research firms, universities, government agencies and survey publishers. For every figure we keep the publisher, the source title and link, the period the data covers and the exact sentence we quote.
What we claim and what we do not
We compare documented features and published prices, never hands-on testing. We do not describe apps, gadgets, software or services as if we had used them.
Fixing mistakes
If a number is wrong, a price or plan has moved or a link has died, tell us at editorial@dbotmaker.io. We check every report. When it holds up, we correct the page and change its updated date so the edit is visible.
Use of AI
We use software, AI models among it, to find sources, draft text, collect spec sheet data and compare quoted sentences with the pages they came from. A figure goes live only after our source checker has found it on the original page, and the desk reads each page before it is published.
