About DBotMaker

Read the name as “the decision bot”. DBotMaker exists to make the call for you: when you need to pick an app, a gadget, a bank card, a streaming service or a piece of software, we line up the options, put their documented specs and published prices side by side, score them on one formula and say which one comes out on top.

We rank the things people choose between, sorted into 12 categories: Software & AI, Business & work, Money, Home & living, Tech & gadgets, Health & fitness, Travel, Learning, Gaming & entertainment, Creators & media, Community & social, and Shopping & services. AI tools are one example among many, next to phones and laptops, budgeting apps, fitness trackers, travel eSIMs, language courses, VPNs and game server hosts. The list of rankings keeps growing.

Every ranking opens with a spec sheet: one sortable table with each product's starting price, free plan or trial, platforms, integrations or compatibility, whether you can sign up or buy on your own or have to talk to sales, and one key spec for that category. The site currently carries 40 rankings and 826 statistics across 16 data pages, and each statistic links back to the organization that published it.

About this domain

From 2020 to 2025 this domain hosted the site of Discord Bot Maker, a desktop app sold on Steam. That app is a separate product with separate owners, and DBotMaker is not its successor. DBotMaker is an independent publication and is not affiliated with Discord Inc. or with the makers of the Discord Bot Maker app.

Who writes the pages

Every page carries the byline of the DBotMaker research desk. There are no named reviewers, invented experts or profile photos on this site. We would rather you judge us by a method you can read than by a face.

What a score tells you

A score sums up what a product offers according to its maker's own documentation, product pages, published specs, help center and price tables. We compare documented features and published prices, never hands-on testing, and we do not claim to have bought, installed or used each product. The full formula and the spec sheet columns are explained on the methodology page.

How the site is paid for

DBotMaker earns nothing from the products it ranks. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored slots, no fees for being listed and no ownership stake in any product we cover. The disclosure page spells this out.
