Rasa is the choice for teams that want to build conversational agents as software they own. The platform combines dialogue understanding on the CALM framework with language-agnostic NLU, enterprise search, a contextual response rephraser and a custom actions server. Non-developers work in a visual Studio, and every change becomes code in a shared repository, while engineers use the CLI, SDKs and Rasa MCP tools from their IDE. Rasa deploys on Kubernetes through Helm, with Redis for concurrency, Kafka for data pipelines and OpenTelemetry for observability, and you can run it on-premises, in a private cloud or as a managed service. Enterprise controls include SSO, role-based access, PII management and Vault-backed secrets. The free Developer Edition allows one bot with up to 1,000 external conversations a month, which is enough to prove a use case. Voice through AudioCodes VoiceAI Connect is an extra purchase, and enterprise pricing is quote-only.
