Ecamm Live review

Ecamm Live is a streaming and recording studio made only for the Mac, and it feels like a native Mac app rather than a port. A live camera switcher handles multiple cameras and screen sharing, and saved scenes let you prepare titles and split screens before the show. Inputs include HDMI capture up to 4K, DSLR and mirrorless cameras over USB, iPhone and iPad over USB, NDI sources and Blackmagic DeckLink cards. Up to ten remote guests can join from a web browser, and viewer comments from Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, Amazon Live and Twitch can be shown on screen. Multistreaming, custom RTMP, scheduling and automatic local recording are included, while the Zoom integration, isolated audio and video tracks, NDI output, realtime monitoring and the virtual camera are Pro features. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial, and we could not confirm a USD price from this location, so its value score is conservative.
