The short version
Lovable is the builder to try first: it goes from prompt to a published app with custom domains, unlimited users and team controls. Replit is close behind for anyone who wants the agent inside a full development workspace, Bolt gives the most generous free tier, and Base44 is the cheapest verified way to get an app with logins and a database. v0 suits Vercel teams, Bubble and FlutterFlow are the picks for native mobile apps, Rocket adds research on one credit pool, and Softr and Glide are built for internal tools and portals on structured data.
Short answer
Lovable is the best AI app builder for founders and teams who want a working app from a prompt in 2026; Replit suits builders who want an agent plus a full workspace from $18 a month billed annually; Base44 is the cheapest verified paid plan at $16 a month billed annually, and Bolt has a free plan with 1M tokens a month.
This list is for people choosing a tool that builds a working app from a description or a visual editor, from first prototype to a published product. It covers prompt-first builders such as Lovable, Bolt and Base44, developer-leaning tools such as Replit and v0, and visual platforms such as Bubble, FlutterFlow, Softr and Glide that now add AI. We compared documented features and published prices on each vendor's own pages and scored capabilities at 40%, ease of setup at 30% and value at 30%. Starting prices are the cheapest paid plan in USD. Lovable showed prices in euros from our location, so its price is marked pending.

Lovable ranks first because it covers the full path from prompt to published app with the fewest extra steps, and it prices by credits rather than by seat. The free plan already allows unlimited collaborators and five lovable.app domains, and Pro adds custom domains, removal of the Lovable badge, design systems and per-member credit limits so one person cannot drain the team allowance. Unused credits roll over and you can buy top-ups on demand. Business adds SSO, a team workspace, workspace publishing and a security center, while Enterprise adds directory sync, audit logs, scheduled deep security scans, sensitive data detection and EU inference. The catch is the allowance: both Pro and Business list 100 monthly credits, so the step up buys controls, not capacity. Lovable's pricing page showed euros from our location, so we have left the USD price pending rather than guess.
What it does well
- +Unlimited users on every paid plan instead of per-seat fees
- +Unused credits roll over on Pro
- +Up to 50% off Pro for verified students
Where it falls short
- −Pro and Business each include 100 monthly credits, so heavy builders will top up
- −SSO needs the Business plan
- −Prices did not show in USD from our location

Price
Free plan; Pro $25 per month billed monthly; Teams $30 per member per month
Quoted from the Bolt pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Pro $25 /month Billed monthly
Bolt measures work in tokens, which it uses when it reads your prompt and project files, plans and writes code, and it publishes the allowances plainly. The free plan gives 1 million tokens a month with a 300,000 daily cap, website hosting, unlimited databases and up to 333,000 web requests, though sites carry Bolt branding. Pro costs $25 a month on monthly billing, removes the daily cap, starts at 10 million tokens a month and lets unused tokens stay in your balance for up to two months. It also adds custom domains, private sharing, AI image editing and a choice of database provider. Teams adds centralized billing, admin controls and private npm registry support at $30 per member, but tokens are per member rather than pooled. Yearly billing saves up to 28%. Bolt is less suited to native mobile apps than builders that ship to app stores.
What it does well
- +The free plan includes hosting and unlimited databases
- +Token rollover on paid plans
- +Yearly billing saves up to 28%
Where it falls short
- −Free sites carry Bolt branding
- −Teams tokens are per member and are not shared
- −SSO and audit logs need Enterprise
- Free plan
- Yes, 1M tokens a month, 300K a day
- Pro
- $25 per month billed monthly, from 10M tokens a month
- Teams
- $30 per member per month billed monthly
- Token rollover
- Up to two months on paid plans
- Upload limit
- 10MB on Free, 100MB on Pro

Free Starter plan; Core $18 per month billed annually or $20 monthly; Pro $90 per month billed annually
Quoted from the Replit pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Core $20 $18 / month, billed annually
Replit is the most complete environment on this list. Replit Agent takes a description and builds the project, and the same workspace handles databases, AI integrations and publishing, so you do not need to stitch together separate hosting. The free Starter plan includes daily credits for Agent and one free published app, which is enough to see whether the approach fits. Core costs $18 a month billed annually and adds $20 toward more powerful models, up to 30 hours of chat on Free Mode and unlimited workspaces. Pro, at $90 a month billed annually, is aimed at commercial builds with up to 15 collaborators, premium support and database rollback of up to 28 days. The trade-off is cost predictability: work beyond the included credits is billed on an effort basis, so a demanding build can cost more than the plan price. Replit itself warns that Agent output can contain mistakes.
What it does well
- +Core at $18 a month on annual billing is one of the lowest entry prices here
- +Builds more than apps: websites, landing pages, designs and slides
- +Database rollback and 15 collaborators on Pro suit commercial work
Where it falls short
- −Usage beyond included credits is billed by effort, which is harder to predict
- −Pro jumps to $90 a month billed annually
- −Replit notes the Agent is probabilistic and may make mistakes
- Free plan
- Yes, Starter with daily Agent credits and one free published app
- Core
- $18 per month billed annually, $20 monthly
- Pro
- $90 per month billed annually, $100 monthly
- Pro collaborators
- Up to 15
- Annual discount
- Up to 10%

Price
Free plan; Starter $16 per month billed annually; Builder $40 per month billed annually
Quoted from the Base44 pricing page on November 6, 2026:
$ 16 /mo Billed annually 100 message credits
Base44 is the most beginner-friendly full-stack option here. You describe the app and it builds the frontend, backend, database, user authentication and payments, and every plan, including Free, comes with the backend, a responsive visual editor, analytics, cloud storage and multi-user editing. Credits are split in two: message credits for AI building and integration credits for actions in connected tools such as Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot and Salesforce. The free plan allows up to five apps with 25 message credits a month. Starter costs $16 a month billed annually, the lowest verified paid price on this list, and adds unlimited apps, in-app code edits, a connected domain and a free domain for one year. GitHub integration and model selection begin on Builder at $40. Base44 says you own your code and data and can export the source through two-way GitHub sync. Services such as Stripe or OpenAI bill you directly.
What it does well
- +Starter at $16 a month billed annually is the lowest verified paid plan here
- +Every plan includes backend, database and auth
- +Free domain for one year on paid plans
Where it falls short
- −Free plan is capped at 25 message credits a month
- −GitHub integration starts on Builder at $40 a month billed annually
- −Third-party services you connect bill you separately
- Free plan
- Yes, 25 message credits and 100 integration credits a month, up to 5 apps
- Starter
- $16 per month billed annually, 100 message credits
- Builder
- $40 per month billed annually, 250 message credits

Price
Free plan; Starter $32 per month billed annually; Growth $119 per month billed annually
Quoted from the Bubble pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Starter Best for projects ready to launch $ 32 / month Billed annually
Bubble has the deepest feature set for teams that expect their app to grow. It now builds web, iOS and Android apps, and its AI Agent, page generation and image generation run on AI credits, while app generation itself does not use credits. Hosting and processing are metered in workload units, which cover database operations, workflows and web interactions. The free plan includes 500 AI credits and 50,000 workload units a month with the API connector and debugger, but only a development version, so you need Starter to launch. Starter costs $32 a month billed annually and adds a live site, custom domain, 1,000 AI credits, 175,000 workload units, basic version control and security checks. Growth adds two editors and two-factor authentication, and Team adds five editors, branches and scheduled deployments. The cost is a steeper learning curve and two usage meters to watch, and plan AI credits reset monthly.
What it does well
- +Builds native iOS and Android apps as well as web apps
- +App generation does not use AI credits
- +Mature workflow and data tools for larger products
Where it falls short
- −Free plan has no live website or custom domain
- −Two meters to watch: workload units and AI credits
- −Plan AI credits do not roll over
- Free plan
- Yes, 500 AI credits and 50K workload units a month, development version only
- Starter
- $32 per month billed annually, 1,000 AI credits
- Growth
- $119 per month billed annually, 2 app editors
- Team
- $349 per month billed annually, 5 app editors
- Annual discount
- Up to 20%

Free plan with 20 one-time credits; Pro $25 per month; Rocket $50 per month
Quoted from the Rocket pricing page on November 6, 2026:
paid plans start at $25 per month
Rocket bundles three products on one credit balance: Build for websites, landing pages, web apps and mobile apps; Solve for structured answers to business questions; and Intelligence for tracking competitors' public channels. For app builders the appeal is the billing model. Every plan includes unlimited team members, so a whole team can work in one account, and credits roll over for as long as you stay subscribed. The free plan gives 20 one-time credits with no card. Pro costs $25 a month in platform fees and includes 100 monthly credits, and Rocket at $50 includes 250 credits and adds consultant-grade Solve. Annual billing saves 20%. Rocket says 1.5 million people have tried it across 180 countries. The downside is that research and competitor tracking draw from the same pool as building, so teams using all three should budget for extra credits. SSO and data localization are handled by sales.
What it does well
- +No per-seat pricing on any plan
- +Credits never expire and roll over
- +Mobile apps are included alongside web output
Where it falls short
- −Free plan credits are one-time, not monthly
- −Research and competitor features share the same credit pool as building
- −SSO and data localization need a sales conversation
- Free plan
- Yes, 20 one-time credits, no card
- Pro
- $25 per month, 100 monthly credits
- Rocket
- $50 per month, 250 monthly credits
- Booster
- $250 per month, 1,500 monthly credits
- Annual discount
- 20%

SoftrAn AI platform for business apps such as client portals, CRMs and intranets, with built-in databases, workflows, forms and agents.

- Capabilities
- 7.8

- 8.2
Price
Free plan; Basic $19 per month billed yearly; Pro $99 per month billed yearly
Quoted from the Softr pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Basic $ 19 /month For individuals
Softr is the business-app specialist here. Rather than a blank canvas, it builds portals, CRMs, knowledge bases and inventory tools on top of its own database, with workflows, forms and AI agents included, and every plan, even Free, allows unlimited apps, databases, workflows, agents and forms plus the Softr API and MCP. Basic costs $19 a month on yearly billing and adds a custom domain, conditional form logic, automated database backups, 50,000 records and 2,500 workflow actions a month. Pro at $99 removes Softr branding and adds Google sign-in for app users, granular permissions, comments, custom code and API connectors. User counts split team users from client users, which helps price client portals. The AI side is lighter than the leaders: Basic includes 10 AI credits a month and Pro 50, so Softr suits structured internal tools more than open-ended app generation. Softr says over 1 million businesses use it.
What it does well
- +Basic at $19 a month billed yearly is among the cheapest paid plans
- +Built-in database with 50K records on Basic
- +Separate team and client user counts suit client portals
Where it falls short
- −AI credits are small: 10 a month on Basic
- −Removing Softr branding needs Pro at $99
- −Extra builders cost $5 to $10 a month each
- Free plan
- Yes, 5 AI credits a month, 5K database records
- Basic
- $19 per month billed yearly, 50K records, 2.5K workflow actions a month
- Pro
- $99 per month billed yearly, 500K records
- Business
- $329 per month billed yearly
- Customers
- 1 million+ businesses, per Softr

Price
Free plan; Plus $30 per user per month; Business $100 per user per month
Quoted from the v0 pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Plus Popular $30
v0 is the most developer-oriented builder on this list. It generates web apps and interfaces, lets you adjust them visually in Design Mode, syncs to GitHub and deploys to Vercel, and all of that is available on the free plan, which is capped at seven messages a day. Plus costs $30 per user a month and includes $30 of monthly credits per user, $2 of free daily credits when you log in, access to all models and shared chats. v0 is unusually open about usage costs: it publishes per-million-token rates for each of its models, from v0 Mini at $0.20 input to v0 Max Fast at $10 input, so heavy users can estimate spend. Business at $100 per user adds training opt-out by default, and Enterprise adds SAML SSO, role-based access and priority performance. Per-user pricing makes it costlier for larger teams, and it does not build backends and logins for you the way Base44 does.
What it does well
- +GitHub sync and Vercel deploys are on the free plan
- +Token rates per model are published in USD
- +Design Mode for visual edits
Where it falls short
- −Free plan is limited to 7 messages a day
- −Priced per user, so teams pay for every seat
- −Training opt-out by default starts on Business at $100 per user
- Free plan
- Yes, 7 messages a day
- Plus
- $30 per user per month, $30 of monthly credits
- Business
- $100 per user per month
- Daily credits
- $2 on login per user on paid plans
- New users
- $5 in one-time credits

FlutterFlowA visual builder for Flutter apps, now paired with FlutterFlow Studio, that adds AI usage, code download and one-click app store deployment.

Price
Free plan; Basic $29 per month billed yearly or $39 monthly; Pro $60 per month billed yearly
Quoted from the FlutterFlow pricing page on November 6, 2026:
$29 a month $351 billed yearly
FlutterFlow is the most mobile-focused builder on the list. Its visual editor builds Flutter apps, and one subscription now covers both FlutterFlow and FlutterFlow Studio, its newer AI-assisted environment, with a single AI allowance shared between them. The free plan includes two projects in Studio and a free AI allowance. Basic, at $29 a month billed yearly or $39 monthly, adds unlimited projects, project code download, Android APK download, one-click store deployment, unlimited API endpoints, OpenAPI imports and one AI agent built on OpenAI, Anthropic or Google models. Pro at $60 a month billed yearly adds a second editor, real-time collaboration, branches, one-click localization and push to GitHub. Firebase and Supabase connections are available on every plan. FlutterFlow asks more of the builder than prompt-first tools, and its AI allowance is described as usage for a simple app rather than a fixed number, which makes capacity harder to compare.
What it does well
- +Code download and app store deployment start on the $29 Basic plan
- +Firebase and Supabase connections on all plans
- +Free year for eligible students and educators
Where it falls short
- −More setup than prompt-first builders
- −GitHub push and real-time collaboration need Pro
- −AI usage is shown as a percentage allowance, not a fixed count
- Free plan
- Yes, 2 projects in Studio and a free AI allowance
- Basic
- $29 per month billed yearly ($351), $39 monthly
- Pro
- $60 per month billed yearly, up to 2 editors
- Max
- $113 per month billed yearly, up to 5 editors
- Templates
- 1K+ prebuilt

GlideGlideOS, Glide's AI platform for building internal business apps from a spreadsheet, a prompt or a file.

- Capabilities
- 7.6
- Ease of setup
- 8.4

Price
Free plan; Basic $25 per month; Plus $50 per month; Pro $125 per month
Quoted from the Glide pricing page on November 6, 2026:
Plans on GlideOS start at $25 per month.
Glide's new GlideOS is built for internal business apps and starts from the data you already have: a spreadsheet, a prompt or a file. It is a separate product from Glide Classic with its own plans. The free plan includes limited credits, ten projects and two team members, enough to test whether a spreadsheet can become an app. Basic costs $25 a month and adds 100 credits, unlimited guests, two published apps, one enabled workflow and a choice of agent mode. Plus at $50 allows public apps and five published apps, and Pro at $125 starts at five members with unlimited published apps and workflows, premium integrations, building with your own agent over MCP, org-level roles and human support. Enterprise adds SSO and lets you choose your LLM provider. The lower plans are tight on published apps and workflows, and Glide says annual plans are coming soon, so there is no yearly discount yet.
What it does well
- +Starts from data teams already keep in spreadsheets
- +Unlimited guests on paid plans
- +Pro includes human support and org-level roles
Where it falls short
- −Basic allows only 2 published apps and 1 enabled workflow
- −Public apps need Plus at $50 a month
- −Annual plans are not yet available
- Free plan
- Yes, limited credits, 10 projects, 2 team members
- Basic
- $25 per month, 100 credits, 2 published apps
- Plus
- $50 per month, 250 credits, 5 published apps
- Pro
- $125 per month, from 5 members
- Billing
- Monthly; annual plans coming soon
Before you pick a product or a plan
Decide who will maintain the app
If nobody on the team writes code, pick a builder that handles backend, database and logins for you, such as Base44, Lovable or Softr. If developers will take over later, check for code export: Base44 has two-way GitHub sync, v0 syncs to GitHub on the free plan, FlutterFlow offers code download from Basic and Replit is a full development environment.
Compare the AI allowance, not only the price
Each vendor meters AI work differently. Bolt counts tokens, Lovable, Rocket and Glide count credits, Base44 splits message and integration credits, v0 includes dollar credits per user and Replit adds effort-based billing beyond its included credits. Bubble also meters hosting in workload units. Estimate how many prompts a typical build takes before comparing plans.
Check whether the free plan can publish
Bolt's free plan includes hosting with Bolt branding, Lovable allows lovable.app domains, Replit Starter includes one free published app and Base44 allows up to five apps. Bubble's free plan has only a development version, and Glide's free plan has no published apps, so launching needs a paid plan.
Web or native mobile
Most prompt-first tools build web apps. Bubble builds web, iOS and Android apps, FlutterFlow deploys to the app stores from Basic, Rocket lists mobile apps among its outputs and Softr offers an installable PWA on Business.
Watch seat pricing as the team grows
Lovable and Rocket include unlimited users, while v0 and Bolt Teams charge per user or member. Softr charges for extra builders and FlutterFlow charges for extra seats on Pro and Max. A per-seat tool that looks cheap for one person can cost more than a flat plan for five.
