Netlify is ninth: it is pleasant to use for sites and front-end apps, but its credit model and function-first design fit bots and heavy APIs less well. Projects deploy from Git, AI tools or the API, every branch and pull request can get a deploy preview, and new projects stay private until you publish. Server code runs as functions, Netlify Database provisions Postgres, and Blob storage holds files. The Free plan is $0 forever with a 300 credit limit a month, Personal is $9 with 1,000 credits, and Pro is $20 a month with unlimited members and tiers from 3,000 to 20,000 credits. Credits pay for everything: a production deploy uses 15, compute 10 per GB-hour, bandwidth 20 per GB and web requests 2 per 10,000. Personal adds credits at $5 per 500. Teams that deploy often or serve large files should model their credit use first. For marketing sites and front-end apps with light server code, it works well.
Who it is for
