Microsoft Copilot review

Copilot is the assistant that comes with the apps many people already use. The free Copilot chat is a starting point, and Microsoft 365 Personal at $9.99 per month adds Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, advanced chat with higher usage than free, AI image creation and visual help from your screen or camera, alongside 1 TB of storage. Microsoft 365 Premium at $19.99 per month adds the features Microsoft keeps exclusive to Premium and Pro: Cowork for multi-step tasks, Researcher for source-cited reports and Analyst for working with data, plus 2 TB of storage shared by up to six people. Microsoft is vague on limits, describing them as higher than free or extensive, and AI features belong to the subscription owner only, even on family plans. If you do not need Office, the value case is weaker than Gemini's.
