Cloudflare Workers ranks fifth and is the cheapest way here to run an API or a webhook-driven bot. Code deploys to Cloudflare's network in 330+ cities by default, or Smart Placement runs it near your data. You can write in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Rust. The free plan allows 100,000 requests a day with 10 milliseconds of CPU time per invocation, and Workers Paid has a $5 monthly minimum per account that includes 10 million requests and 30 million CPU milliseconds, then $0.30 per additional million requests and $0.02 per million CPU ms. Cloudflare's own example of a Worker serving 15 million requests a month comes to $8.00. There are no egress or bandwidth charges, Cron Triggers handle scheduled jobs, and gradual rollouts let you ship to a share of users first. The limits: the runtime is not a standard Node.js server, and long-running processes need Containers. For lightweight APIs and bots, the value is unmatched.
Who it is for
