Microsoft Copilot in Outlook review

Copilot is the natural choice for anyone whose email already runs through Outlook. Microsoft 365 Personal, at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year in the US, includes the Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote desktop apps with Microsoft Copilot, higher Copilot chat usage than the free tier and 1 TB of storage. Businesses can buy Microsoft 365 Business Standard with Copilot at $23.50 per user per month or Business Premium with Copilot at $32.00, both paid yearly, or add Copilot Business to an existing plan. The value is the bundle: for many buyers the Office apps and storage justify the price before any AI. The limits are scope and depth. Copilot is tied to Microsoft's apps, and Microsoft's pricing pages focus on the suite rather than email-specific automation such as triage rules or auto drafts, so heavy email users may still want a dedicated tool.
